We are in process of strengthening of our import division with adding up some new potential products, which have good scope in growing Indian market. Further the market situation is also favorable for imports due to the continuous strengthening of Indian Rupees against US Dollar. Since last one year,Calendar year2007, there is a record 15% depreciation of US Dollar against Indian Rupees. And it is further expected to depreciate more, which will make imports more attractive. The Government of India has taken the intiative by continuous reduction in import duties on various products to make imports more attractive and viable. We are looking for new product of good quality for large and diversified Indian market. We have an early experience of importing goods like Home Appliances and Lubricants. Now we are interested in the same kind of products plus new product area like Alcohol, Food Items, Engineering Goods, Automotive Products, FMCG Goods, Home Appliances and Electronic Products etc. |
